Lex Update

Here is the latest on Lex:

Lex has been obsessed with letters for several months now. He gets excited when he sees them and we think he dreams of letters. Yes, it is nerdy. But when it is your kid you overlook it!

Lex asks daily to go to the park and loves to swing and go on the slides. He's learned to say thank you and sorry, and it has made being his Mama so much more pleasurable. When I give him his cereal in the morning I get a prompt "Thank you, Mama!" It is nice to be thanked for the little things!


Lex is talking a ton more but still continues with Speech Therapy to work on annunciation. Two days a week he has a 30 minute session with the speech therapist at our local elementary school. He loves it so much! We call it school and he is always happy to go. He gets to go with the teacher all by himself while Aussie and I wait in the school's office. It doesn't hurt that it is Jackson's school, too. Lex has even seen Jackson in the hallway. He thinks he is pretty cool to have something in common with Jackson!
