Easter Morning

Another Lex ABC Video
Just because I love it so much, here is another Lex ABC video. I like how his voice gets all scary in the middle of it.
Easter Hunts
Saturday morning we got the kids up early and went to an Easter hunt put on by the county. Lex had a great time and I think he did pretty good! A video is below.
After that hunt was over, we went over to another hunt at a local elementary school that was put on by a church. I have to tell you, the church one was better. They had better candy and seemed more organized.

Boys on the Lanai
I thought these pictures were cute and wanted to share. Austin looks so much older in a few of these, I can't figure out why. Please ignore the sad state of our plants. We had a frost this winter that killed a lot of our trees. That banana tree in the background will survive (thank goodness since it is my favorite), but many of our palm trees perished.
Toby's Final Four Party
Toby's puppy
Austin getting fresh with some puppies of his own
I posted these photos on Facebook, so I'll keep it short here. On Saturday we went to Toby's second annual Final Four party. We were lucky enough to be at the first one, so we couldn't miss this one! Last year Lex was the only kid in attendance, but this year the place was crawling with children. Lex quite enjoyed that. They went swimming, played with Legos, and just hung out. Austin was busy working on getting his second tooth in that day, so he appreciated all the extra hands to hold him.
Last year we won about $50 at this party, but this year we just lost money. It is true that gambling does not pay, I guess!
Really gross
We were on our way somewhere in the car recently when Jeremy noticed this dead snake on the side of the road in our neighborhood. Of course, we had to take photos of it so we can identify it online later! We identified it as the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake, and figure someone must have been there before us and cut off the rattle. Here is more about this snake if you wanted to know more.
I am just glad it wasn't in our yard. Watch out, Chris and Paula, it was closer to your house than ours!
