Well, Jer and I spent a lot of our time in Utah negotiating on a name, and we finally came to an agreement. I get the Ian first name that I wanted, but I gave up the "Miller" middle name. Jer got to pick the middle name, and he is going with Drake. Of course, we could still change our minds before this baby comes, but it is nice to have something to call the little guy!
I've always liked the name Ian. I remember whenever my friend Erin would talk about her younger cousin Ian when we were little, I thought it was such a cute name. Later I had a few friends named Ian and they were always nice respectable fellows. Jer also has a former coworker we really like named Ian.

Hmmm...sounds like someone important to me!!! I like Ian too.
Ian is a great name! I was surprised when I saw the name of your blog with the name Ian at the end. It was a nice surprise, and I'm glad you have a name to call the little guy.
Wow Em, what a great back story on the name. I will have to tell cousin Ian and his mom about it. :)
What a relief to have a name chosen! Name association with other people is big! I can think of a few cute names if I think about them alone, but I hate them because of past people I knew! Anyway, I knew an Ian and I have to admit that he was a bit of a bald bully, but I'll just have to wash that memory away & think of your adorable little guy!
