Last week Jer and I both celebrated our birthdays. Honestly, we had birthday burnout by the end of the week. Every year we have this, especially with Mother's Day landing the same week! By the time Mother's Day comes around, I just don't want anything done for me.
Anyway, whining over. It is fantastic having our birthdays so close when there is a big splurge we want to justify. We just didn't have anything we really wanted this year. Maybe next year we'll take a birthday trip. That would be fun! I honestly racked my brain for things I wanted but couldn't come up with anything. Jer was going to buy me the Kindle reader from Amazon that I've had my eye on, but I hate buying brand new technology that will likely go down in price in the next year. So, I bought some maternity clothes, and Jer got a $10 charger for his Wii controllers and a trip to the beach. Whoo hoo, big spenders!
Oh, above are some photos of my birthday. We didn't even bother with a cake for Jer's birthday since we still had half of my birthday cake in the fridge! We sound like the most boring people, don't we!?!

I'm glad you're feeling better. And the belly is beautiful!! Can't wait to see it grow more!
Hey there! We like your belly! Does Lex like to blow out the candles? We always light our cakes at least once for every child present. We like them nice and moist and spit upon:)
